Doshisha founder Jo Niijima
"sei*korejihizensai and symposium" are held!

In the Edo era, there is Annaka feudal clan (the Itakuras) Edo daimyo's mansion in place of bachelor Hall of current 3, Kandanishikicho,
Because his Jo Niijima is born in this mansion, there is "shinshima*sakiseisei*korejihi".
This monument is thing built in (1941) in 1941, and festival in front of monument is performed every year.


February 12 is sei*korenichi of Jo Niijima today.
"Festival in front of monument" was held in bachelor Hall "shinshima*sakiseisei*korejihi" before.


The people concerned including Doshisha alumnus gather in front of "shinshima*sakiseisei*korejihi" of bachelor Hall.
Festival in front of monument begins with unison of hymn 312 "prayer".

After "festival in front of monument," symposium was held in bachelor Hall Room 201.

It is titled to. Seven-Five-Three Festival large (we occupied) is childhood name of Jo Niijima.
