The town blog "Kanda, Jimbocho, Akihabara" outskirts

It was held on Tuesday, September 4,
"Kanda umaimon tour
Visiting public houses ~ which bean jam of ... vegetable store, butcher shop shows" around

We participated in this. This year under the theme of "fast food of Edo,"
Expectation increases that we can taste delicious thing which professionals of ingredients recommend!

Meet participants at Kanda west exit mall entrance.
All the members gather at 19:00 and are beginning of long-awaited tour.
 

To progress straight at west exit mall, bar "kan denshintsuki" of the first house.
There are counter and table which the depths of terrace seat are made, and drink can play.
On seeing look of a shop, there was one mistaken for "Yakitori shop"…
 

In fact, sea foods providing fresh fishery products of Tsukiji direct shipment stand, and bookmaking is shop of selling.

Leek is daring, and it is ridden on "ika barbecue" muscular cuttlefish.
Cost performance that is surprising by this volume!
 

In the middle of meal, various quizzes are asked about by bean jam.
From problem about Kanda and Edo to problem about work of bean jam, we were made questions widely.
We present souvenir only in Kanda to one with many correct answers.
 

Stand, and drink, and is bar, with what! "Nigiri-zushi" which kind had abundant came out.
Including modern thing which the basic material was prepared, but was Western-style, and arranged and thing which warmed lined up a lot.
 

When tour is the middle stage, everybody liquor advances, too, and conversation bounds among participants.
Taste delicious sushi, to the next shop.

The second house was shown well-established noodle shop "manryuga" (circle) around.

 
As for "side miso and slices of white fish paste served with grated horseradish" side miso, the surface is burnt and it is sweet and is fragrant.
Horizontal straight wasabi of Kamaboko was very stimulating and was exciting.
 

By seasoning that "dish simmered in bird staying good" is salty-sweet, we match liquor. Parts such as lever, heart, gizzard, kumquat are mixed.
 

Quiz gradually became difficult, too and was worried, everybody.
About Kanda and the Edo era, might it be a chance to be interested?
 

The last menu is soba. The large-sized prawns sky came.
We take three hours and ate in various ways, but eat up soba!


Real identity of fast food of Edo was sushi and soba.
Participants seemed to be satisfied, too.
We hope that you can go to visit Kanda taking the opportunity of this.
