"150 years - of town which supported - "Sanno" which crossed time"

Chiyoda-ku, Chuo-ku area which formed center of big city Edo from the early period of Edo era still shows upsurge by Sanno festival and Kanda festival in those days.
Above all, Hie-jinja Shrine (Sanno honorific title of a Japanese god) had genius locus God ubusunagamitoshite of Tokugawa family to inherit the shogunate, around Kojimachi, Nihonbashi, Kyobashi, Ginza (now including Bancho) in parishioner book in the Edo era and performed Sanno festival in June in every second year and provided luxurious festival car and fusai false eyelashes fishing. Both festivals were called "world festival" and were important scene which expressed refined culture of merchant to samurai family and other towns, and it was parishioner town that supported this with various forms.
By book exhibition, we pay attention to the tradition being inherited after the Meiji Restoration ceaselessly in capital Tokyo and want to trace the history and culture that parishioner town walked for 150 years, the change of cityscape.
