Special photo exhibition "now, old days of British Embassy to trace in photograph to Japan"

Entrance method On the day, at reception desk than 10:30 a.m. in front of the embassy front gate, we distribute entrance rearranging ticket to first-come-first-served bases.
One piece of rearranging ticket has, and one entrance is possible. Rearranging ticket is distributed to two pieces of one only once.
The walk-in We enter at the embassy south gate (the Kojimachi fire department side) from 30 minutes before start at designation appreciation time and accept and start.
We lead to venue after security check and the baggage check.

We hold photo exhibition to look back on the history of British Embassy to Japan

Approximately 140 years passed after British Government moved legation from east temple belonging to the Zen sect of Shinagawa to Ichibancho, Chiyoda-ku that was the present address in 1875. This land did promotion to embassy of 1905, to this day various historic changes including the Great Kanto Earthquake of 1923 in one of eyes. Duties and activity of embassy change with the times and are making efforts in that we promote international system that conformed to British sense of values and law on pillar by the cause of partnership with Japan, British prosperity, security, British rights and interests protection now.

Stream down feeling of thanks from the U.K. to Japan and thanks from embassy to local various places and local government while photo exhibition being "now, old day of embassy to trace in photograph to Japan", and introducing the history in photograph led by embassy in the red brick times, state of the Great Kanto Earthquake, embassy rebuilding and send strong commitment of British Government which continues being active because Japan and Britain-affiliated which is strong more deeply ahead at embassy which came from Ichibancho as message especially.
