We lay modern product design - Made in Japan

In Japan, various traditional industrial arts and the manual industry that rooted in area breathed and developed. Modern product designer and others who paid the attention to those special techniques to support base of manufacturing culture plan suggestion to do life wealthily and are engaged in production and oneself product announcement and distribution from design development. There is new development that designer and local production engineer and others including ceramics and dyeing and weaving product, lacquerware, tree bamboo work product, metalworking product cooperated closely, and tool which quenches modern life while deepening relations with master more is brought about there.

Reiko Sudo of textile designer announces fresh design appropriate to modern life sense energetically, and, Makoto Koizumi and jotanikosei, daichishoten representing the present age of such a product design, she plays an active part again. Their design does not remain in the country, and announcement and introduction are accomplished globally, and it may be said that we carry part of superior design of Japan where the world pays attention to. We deliver rising young designers in total and introduce sennuki or tableware which feature the theme of immediate product design, and gathered and inspect the future of product design in the future and the possibility.

At this exhibition, we pay attention to spirited product designers taking such a manufacturing of Japan and introduce superior design and tool bringing about Made in Japan so-called today.
