Japan begins to move forward after the Meiji Restoration as modern nation and draws energetic figure with National Archives, Miyauchi Archives Building, document of diplomatic historical materials building.

Temporary exhibition of the spring of 2013 is National Archives, Miyauchi Archives Building, sponsorship of diplomatic historical materials building and, from possession document of each hall, introduces precious official document or picture scroll of the Meiji era. This is the first time that state politics, the Imperial Family, diplomatic records that each hall possesses gather in cathedral.
Other than Great Japanese Imperial Constitution and "figure of unchallengeable absolute" (important cultural property "figure of land tax officer appendix"), please see trace of Meiji Japan drawn by splendid picture scroll such as "Emperor Meiji period appended diagram original draft" and peace treaty of both Sino-Japanese, Japan and Russia war and valuable document including dinner menu in Rokumei-kan period by all means.
