Exhibition summary


Japanese modern industrial arts accomplished development in line with the times and collected international attention. Particularly in late years we deepen industrial arts and thought for individual molding earnestly while standing on trend of industrial arts and art, and writer and others indicating will play an active part for innovation as modern molding. They realized structure and decorativeness of work, characteristic such as materialness again as well as industrial tradition by sensitivity of modern people and acted in order to do individual consciousness clearly, and to find original expression.
Kunihiko Moriguchi and *kichihidari*mon and others representing today's Japanese industrial arts find new originality in traditional technique and material expression such as yuzen and ** and build modern tradition. In addition, Tatsusuke Kuriki and Akira Yagi, Nobuyuki Tanaka and others rebuilt technique of established industrial recognition and molding and opened up new possibility. All are recognized through energetic production announcement out of the country or work store to main art museums globally. The art shows fresh molding technique in Japanese industrial arts while differing in material and expression and receives international standard evaluation as thing building new coordinate widely.
By book exhibition, put writers and spirited writer and others who led such a modern Japanese industrial arts developing production activity most creatively today together and take up 11 people who attract attention particularly globally. We do each molding thought clearly and constitute with individual creation and work approximately 90 points which we did and survey the industrial future while inspecting modern industrial arts.
