What is Morphe (molar feh)?
Art project of local model that Tokyo, Aoyama was held as the main stage from 1995 through 2000. Around gallery, we perform display, presentation of modern art in boutique, cafe, car showroom. Development form of art event "manifesto" held in Aoyama in 1994. It was named "Morphe" for Greek God Morpheus who controlled dream and sleep by viewpoint to overlook the world that continued transforming. It is "manifesto" = "molar feh" that was going to bring about new flow from the highest ground, Aoyama of fashion for Ginza that is center of Tokyo, modern art at the time. It was launched by Mizuma Sueo that open corridor did mizuma art gallery in Aoyama in 1994, akikunri of AKI-EX, and nakayoko*shin acted as general direction from 1995 through 2000. Theme of 1995 "crack City Crack" faced from "crisis and the front of city" at the same period including Great Hanshin Earthquake, the sarin subway attacks in Tokyo. In addition, we added Mie, the south group town to another stage in 1998 and did ARTscope and collaboration of Hong Kong in 2000, and every year unusual program was performed. A zonal and associates was in charge of graphic design through the whole.

We possess related document which the Morphe secretariat saved provisionally and we arrange for exhibition and classify now in P ARCHIVE. What still convey activity of Morphe in detail only as for these valuable documents. We tell about result of document rearranging activity by P ARCHIVE through talk session and display.
